The Tigress fragrance became popular in the 1940's and remained so for four decades. The products come in a vast array of styles and types of packaging. Generally, all products have a faux tiger pattern with combinations of colors in black, orange, brown, yellow, and white.
The popular fragrance has three formulations, quite distinct from each other. The original Tigress was sold into the 1960's. A new formulation of Tigress was introduced in the mid-1960's. A third, 1980's Tigress is distinctly different. Finally, there is a Tigress Musk Cologne which should be a considered a completely different fragrance.
